Eric has represented Lloyd’s and ILU insurers in New Orleans, Louisiana; taught as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles; and regularly publishes and lectures for continuing legal education conferences in Southern California.
Eric was formerly associated with Buchalter, Nemer, Fields and Younger in Los Angeles; and was of counsel to Shernoff & Scott in Newport Beach, California.
Eric earned his B.A. with honors in philosophy from Louisiana State University in 1978; his EBD (“Everything But the Dissertation”) in Ancient Philosophy from the University of Texas Graduate School of Philosophy and Classics at Austin in 1982; and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1985, where he achieved a first place, undefeated title in the national Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition.
